Is NLPA a part of APA?

No, the four ethnic minority associations of psychology have independent status. NLPA and the Asian American Psychological Association tend to meet at APA, however, the Association of Black Psychologist and the Society of Indian Psychologists have separate annual meetings.

Do I need to be a APA member to join NLPA?

No, membership is open to everyone interested in Latino Psychology, whether or not you are a member of the APA.
