NLPA welcomes Sandra Gomez as our new student member elect! 

The Elect Student Representative will coordinate with the Membership Committee to recruit and retain new student members, assist Current Student Representative on conference preparation and maintain communication with other NLPA communities (e.g., SIGS, and subcommittees) especially when they have student involvement.

Gomez is"... beyond excited and honored to accept the student-elect position. I have been part of the NLPA family since I was in undergrad. Since then, my passion for helping create an organization that is inclusive, anti-oppressive, and liberated through community and action-oriented initiatives has only grown. I am filled with gratitude to have this opportunity to give back, develop, and foster a professional organization and familia that holistically supports its students."
